Hero MotoCorp Launches Three New 200cc Motorcycles in India

The long wait is finally over because Hero MotoCorp has launched the XPulse twins in the Indian market. As a surprise, the brand also launched a third motorcycle, the Hero Xtreme 200S, a fully-faired version of the Xtreme 200R.
The XPulse 200 and the XPulse 200T are powered by the same 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the Xtreme 200R. The engine delivers 18.4 bhp of power at 8000 rpm and 17.1 NM of torque at 6500 rpm. Both bikes are mated to a five-speed gearbox. The XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T will both feature single-channel ABS, LED lighting at both ends, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, and a windscreen for better wind protection.
Hero XPulse 200:
[gallery size="full" ids="4423,4425,4424,4427,4443,4430"]The XPulse 200 is a dual-purpose motorcycle which will be available in two variants - a carburetted version at INR 97,000 and a fuel injected variant at INR 1.05 Lakh. The XPulse 200 gets a long-travel suspension and larger spoked wheels (21-inch up front and 18-inch at the rear) with 90/90-21 tyres in the front and 120/80-18 at the rear. . It makes use of a box-section swingarm and a ten-step adjustable monoshock at the rear, and a 37mm telescopic forks at the front. The front forks have 190mm travel while the gas-charged monoshock at the rear has 170 mm travel. Seat height stands at 825mm. It also features a luggage rack, knuckle guards, a high-mounted exhaust for better water-wading capability, and a sump guard. While the FI- model will be offered in 3 colours – Matte Green, Pearl Fadeless White and Matte Axis Grey, the carburetted variant of the will be offered in Sports Red and Black.[gallery size="full" ids="8710,8711,8712,8713,8714"]
Hero XPulse 200T:
The XPulse 200T is the touring version of the XPulse 200 and will be available only as a carburetted motorcycle. It is priced at INR 94,000. The XPulse 200T gets a seat height of 795mm, and 17-inch wheels front and rear, with 100/80-17 and 130/70-R17 tyres. This motorcycle will be offered in Candy Blazing Red, Black, Matte Shield Gold and Matte Axis Gray.[gallery size="full" ids="8717,8718,8719,8720"]
Hero Xtreme 200S:
[gallery size="full" ids="8729,8732,8727,8725,8731"]Speaking of the Xtreme 200S, it is a fully-faired version of the Xtreme 200R and shares the same mechanicals and geometry. Powering the Xtreme 200S is the same engine from the 200R that makes 18.4hp at 8,000rpm and 17.1Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is a two-valved, air-cooled, single cylinder unit which is fueled by a carburettor. Transmission is via a five-speed unit. The bike comes equipped with a full-LED headlight and taillight setup and gets a Bluetooth-enabled navigation cluster. The motorcycle gets a 276mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear. Single-channel ABS is part of standard equipment. The Hero Xtreme 200S is available in three colours – red, brown and black and it is priced at Rs 98,500.[gallery size="full" ids="8724,8722,8723"]
